Australia Beats Great Britain 33-10 in Rugby League Tri-Nations
Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Australia beat Great Britain 33-10 in rugby league's Tri-Nations in Brisbane to end its opponent's chances of reaching next week's final.
Justin Hodges, Mark Gasnier, Karmichael Hunt, Darren Lockyer, Anthony Tupou and Brent Tate got tries for the Kangaroos, who will now face defending champion New Zealand in the tournament's decider on Nov. 25.
``They came out and showed us how to play rugby,'' Great Britain captain Jamie Peacock told the British Broadcasting Corp.'s Web site.
Australia finishes the group stage on six points after winning three of its four games, with New Zealand and Great Britain on two points. New Zealand advances because of a superior points difference.
Lockyer today also kicked a drop-goal, while Jonathan Thurston got four conversions.
